Abstract

Abstract: This article presents the evolution of electronic petitioning systems within the scope of the Prosecution Office of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT), notably from the beginning of the implementation of the Electronic Judicial Process System (PJE) by the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT). The study aimed to identify the main milestones in the development of internal systems, explaining the principles and scope of the fundamental tool in use by members and employees of the Institution – the neoGab System – in order to outline challenges, express concerns and propose new possibilities for its utilization in the context of resources being applied to Law and information and communication technology systems, such as data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
