Constitutional Jurisdiction and the Protection of Human Dignity

Abstract

This article examines the role of constitutional jurisdiction in the protection of human dignity and aims to highlight the importance that this form of jurisdiction has assumed within the framework of the Rule of Law, particularly in the defense of fundamental individual rights, as an essential instrument for their guarantee and protection, all of which derives from the constitutionalist movement that shaped the development of the constitutional legal order in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
