The Transsexualization Process is a set of actions aimed at health care in the gender transition. It was established in the Unified Health System (SUS) in 2008, is based on Resolutions of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) and was redefined through Ordinance GM/MS No. 2,803. The objective of this research is to broaden the debate about the place of the family in the Transsexualization Process through first-person narratives about their experiences with these transformations, in addition to writing and analyzing the central topics of public policies and mapping the territoriality of the assistance offered to women. trans people/family members by the Brazilian State. An exploratory and narrative study was carried out, based on theoretical-conceptual premises from the social and historical sciences. We sought to give visibility and voice to the families of trans people, who act as an adjunct in this process for the maintenance and extension of transsexual health care, in order to collaborate with qualitative content for the expansion of public debates, improvement of intersectoral public policies and expansion of the guarantee of rights.
