Process Modeling in the Public Prosecution Service of the Federal District and Territories: Achieving Strategic Planning Objectives

This article aims to present the Process Analysis and Improvement (PAI) methodology as a fundamental tool for strengthening and developing organizational processes, guiding institutions toward managerial excellence; the Public Prosecution Service of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT) has developed its Strategic Plan for the next ten years, and within this framework, process improvement enhances the organization’s capacity to anticipate, manage, and respond to changes while maximizing results for society; the study initially provides a brief overview of the methodology used in the development of the MPDFT Strategic Plan, namely the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), as well as process modeling techniques, and further proposes the continuation of efforts to ensure the effective implementation of the strategic plan and the achievement of its objectives through well-defined, structured, and continuously reviewed processes.
